Heather and I work outside the home for a lot of reasons. For one, we both find technology law interesting; it tends to move pretty fast. For another, we both like being able to pay our mortgages. This morning I was reminded very powerfully of another reason why I am glad to work. I was talking with my daughter about what she wants for her upcoming birthday, and a bit surprised to hear there is only one item on her wish list: a desk for her bedroom.
